Guiding Principles
I am committed to certain fundamental principles that guide my practice and the relationships I seek to build with my clients.
Be trustworthy and honest.
Trust and honesty are the keystones of all solid relationships. I am open and straight-forward in my interactions, whether with clients, regulators, or adversaries. This includes providing my clients with an honest assessment of the issues at hand, even when the truth might be hard to hear. Tackling hard issues from this position at the outset makes for a smoother path forward and always leads to a better outcome.
Be responsive and reliable.
Nothing sullies a relationship faster than lack of communication and feeling like you cannot depend on someone. My ultimate goal is to establish valuable, long-term relationships with my clients, and I know that is an impossible feat without open lines of communication and proving that you can rely on me to be there when you need me.
Be diligent and purposeful.
I know your business needs you and that the matters you entrust to me are, more often than not, a distraction from what is truly important to you. The best thing I can do is be diligent and act with purpose. I work hard to thoroughly understand the issues and reach the best resolution we can, while being mindful to not waste your valuable time.
